For thrill seekers there is an endless amount of theme parks such as Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and many more. There is something for every member of the family at these parks, rides and rollercoasters, shops and shows. Make sure to plan your day at these parks before you go so you get to see everything you want, also head there early in the morning because your day will be jam packed with adventure! To keep cool in the Florida sunshine, head to a water park such as Aquatica, Wet ‘n’ Wild or one of Disney’s fantastic water parks. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen with you to parks, especially water ones, as you will have to reapply every few hours.
If you love to shop, who doesn’t? - Orlando is totally for you. There are fantastic outlets with discounted designer brands, huge shopping malls and wonderful flea markets. Check out shops such as Ross and TJ Max for cheap top designer clothes at low prices.
International Drive is a must-see on your trip to Orlando. There are endless amounts of attractions, restaurants and stores. Ripley’s and Wonderworks are two attractions not to be missed.
Lucky for most families, there is plenty to do at night that children are able to get involved with. Some fantastic activities to do at night are crazy golf (as during the day it is very hot), a visit to Old Town (a fantastic area with shops, bars and attractions), Disney Boardwalk and late night shopping.
Disneyworld is of course the main attraction of Orlando and a trip to Florida is incomplete without a visit to Disney. There are six parks to choose from and all have something different to offer. Magic Kingdom is ideal for the young children, and of course the young at heart. The others are for the older children and parents. Although, there is something for everyone to enjoy at each park. Be sure to read up on all the parks before you go so you know where you most want to visit. Have a wonderful holiday.
