La Fontaine

La Fontaine is located right in the city centre. It is a good place to just relax and do a spot of people watching. They have a range of snacks but do try one of their sweet pastries as it worth the trip.

Café Vienna

Chill out on the terrace overlooking the sea and just indulge yourself in their coffees and pastries. Café Vienna is within in the four-star Hotel Odyssee Park so smart casual dress is normal.

Le Flore

If you want a café and restaurant located directly on the promenade then this is the perfect place. You can have a breakfast before a day on the beach or take a break from the sun for a casual lunch. They are well known for their seafood dishes and also stay open for dinner in the evening.

Patisserie Tafarnout

Patisserie Tafarnout has been serving customers since 1984, as you would expect the Moroccan pastries and cakes of highest quality. They also offer sandwiches, fresh juices and typical Moroccan mint tea.

BARS & NIGHTLIFE

If you have spent a hard day lounging on the beach you may want to head out onto the town in the evening. If you want to try the local cocktails and sample the sights and sounds of the Saharan scene then read on. There is something for everyone who wants to get the most out of their visit to Agadir. There are nightclubs, bars and also a casino however women on their own should stay within the main tourist areas.

Piano Bar

This is a women friendly bar and serves a good selection of drinks at fair prices. The cocktails are accompanied by the sounds of the resident pianist.

Jour et Nuit

If it’s the middle of the night and you can’t sleep and you want a place to quench your thirst then this 24 hour bar can be like an oasis in the middle of the desert. It has a large terrace where you can relax with a cup of coffee, tea or a perhaps something stronger.

The Pub

This is a popular Irish bar serving a good selection of British and Irish beers.

Flamingo

Flamingo is a popular and noisy nightspot that plays a selection of the latest hits. On Saturdays it tends to be very crowded and is popular with both tourists and locals.

Papagayo

This has had the crown of Agadir’s hottest night spot for some time. It has been around since 1998 but is still the place to be seen. People go there to party into the early hours and then hit the beach.
