This tour operator offers a sea kayaking and snorkelling combo. The tour departs in the morning from four pick-up locations: Nuevo Vallarta, Marina Vallarta, downtown Puerto Vallarta, and south of Puerto Vallarta. This excursion is offered year-round on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The tour is about 6 hours long, with 1. 5 hours of kayaking and the remainder dedicated to snorkelling. You paddle toward Colomitos Cove which is a softly sanded cove. In the clear waters of this area, you will see multi-coloured fish, and possibly starfish, manta rays, eels, and sea urchin. This sea kayak tour is ideal for any range of experience from beginner to expert. This is also a good option for family trips. The overall package cost is $80 and includes equipment, transportation and lunch which is not bad for a full days activities.

Deep Sea Fishing

Puerto Vallarta is renowned for fishing and known worldwide as a premier game fishing destination. In addition to trophy-sized Sailfish and Mahi Mahi, local fisherman and tourists have caught over 300-pound Yellowfin Tuna, as well as giant marlin weighing over 500 pounds. The ocean waters of Banderas Bay are also teeming with Billfish, Jack, Sea Bass, Snapper and Wahoo. Please remember that you do need a fishing license.

Nuevo Vallarta Tour Company at the Paradise Village Marina

This tour company offers private yacht charters with your own itinerary, as well as shared deep sea fishing trips. Shared trips last 8 hours and depart daily at 7:45 a. m. from Paradise Marina in Nuevo Vallarta. These trips run on a 44 foot Viking yacht which can accommodate up to 12 passengers.

This company specializes in first class fishing with the latest equipment. The boats are all outfitted with the latest electronics and they have both outriggers and downriggers to increase your chances of getting a big catch. This company also allows you to set your own itinerary.

Mr. Marlin Sport Fishing at Condominiums Puesta del Sol #16, Marina Vallarta

This fishing charter operates out of Puerto Vallarta, but also offers service from the harbour in Nuevo Vallarta. Their fleet can accommodate up to 10 people and their 4 to 12 hour excursions include all fishing gear. Lunch and fishing licenses can be purchased separately and overnight charters are also available.

PV Marlin Sportsfishing at Condominio Las Palmas, Local B, Marina Vallarta

This tour operator offers fishing trips from a 34-foot, fully-loaded Abermarle yacht, and is a IGFA approved weigh station which is quite convenient if you want to record the weight of your massive catch. The crew will clean and package your fish, or freeze it for later pick-up. Charters are provided from both Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta.
