Situated on Vineland Avenue, exit 68 on I4 – there is a huge Catholic Church beside this, name escapes me, but last Christmas Day mass attracted 2000 worshippers so get there early to get a seat – police patrol the parking.
A Factory outlet mall with official opening hours of 10am to 11pm daily apart from Sunday when it closes at 9pm. However, I have been during low season and the shops started closing around 9pm during the week.
This has only been built a few years and is a very attractive and well laid out outlet. Slightly more expensive than others in Orlando but more exclusive Designer shops. Bargains to be found and as with most things in the US – cheaper than in the UK is the usual story.
I have not visited every shop – although the rest of the family will try and tell you otherwise, but below are some I have visited and sometimes bought in.
Many sports wear stores here. Adidas, Big Dog Sportswear, Puma, Nike and Reebok. Lots of savings on trainers here, always collect coupons when you can, as there are often savings to be made using these – particularly at Reebok. Nike store not as big as Belz but many bargains nevertheless.
Kid’s stores include Oilily - very expensive here in the UK and not great bargains to be found but here you can sometimes get winter coats that around £150 here for half that. Calvin Klein, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger and Levis all have a children’s section and T-shirts are very reasonable. Osh Kosh is here and Strasburg Children sell fantastic dresses for that special occasion.
The Designer stores such as Burberry, DKNY, Nautica, Ralph Lauren and Versace all have children’s clothes available but limited – Burberry don’t seem to do much now that it has become popular in the UK again. Nautica had a sale there once when all kids clothese were $9!!! My children have a coat every year until they are 15!!
For the adults, Anne Klein, Banana Republic, Barneys, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Clothestime, DKNY, Dress Barn, Escada, French Connection, Fubu, Giorgio Armani, Guess, Hugo Boss, Levis, Louis Feraud, Max Mara, Nautica, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen and Versace can all be found here – all factory outlets so great savings to be made in all shops. Timberland sell everything from shoes to clothes to accessories.
For shoes try Liz Claibourne and Etienne Aigner – often running buy one, get one half price offers. Bass are popular in the US and Kenneth Cole which is taking off over here (Kenneth Cole are expensive but beautiful leather shoes particularly for men). Skechers and Timberland also have stores here.
Various sunglasses outlets here (my tip however – go to Saks of Fifth Avenue outlet by Belz – Gucci, Versace, Moschino never any more than $60 – Burberry sunglasses and CK for $40! Tommy Hilfiger always around $20 in Marshalls and CK around $25 in Marshalls – last seasons).
Lovely gift shops here such as sweets, cigars, cosmetic stores – not too mention a great chocolate shop!!
A large food court offering usual US food court options – Chinese, Italian, Spanish, burgers, salads etc. Also cookies and doughnuts and coffee galore if that’s all you want.
There are always little carts in the walkways and they are worth stopping at as sell good bargains.
Premium Outlets is definitely worth a visit – my last bargain was a Ralph Lauren handbag for $30 and the exact same is £70 here! Also a burberry handbag that is £350 here was only $169 in the Burberry shop – I was only allowed to look at that one!
More contained than Belz and easier to find places with help of the map that you can find at Information.
