Just arrived back from visiting Mannys Chophouse, and boy was it good!!
Frequented mainly by locals it was extremely busy, but it was also Fajita two for one night (which were extremely popular) so we did have a wait, no problem we got drinks from the bar and found it was still happy hour.
The atmosphere was electric, the staff worked so swiftly and efficiently and were extremely friendly. Our wait was not too long and we were soon shown to our table and given the menu.
We started off with the bottomless salad bowl with Manny’s garlic ranch dressing which was absolutely delicious and it was HUGE. The jacket potatoes coming out of the kitchen looked so nice I decided to have one and chose the filet mignon to go with it, I made a good choice , the steak was melt in the mouth and the jacket potato with sour cream was absolutely delicious.
Hubby chose the Manny’s sirloin steak and stuffed grouper which was stuffed with shrimp and crab meat au gratin, he said they were both delicious.
The portions are hefty and we had no room for desert but they do offer a selection including New York cheesecake with a load of strawberries or hot fudge sauce, Florida key lime pie among others but there most popular we saw served was Manny’s chocolate house slide which is a jumbo bowl filled with chocolate fudge brownie, 2 scoops of vanilla and two scoops of chocolate fudge ice cream, loaded with hot fudge sauce and topped with whipped cream and chopped nuts. This is certainly a desert to share and would feed up to four people.
They offer specials throughout the week such as free fajitas buy one get one free on Wednesdays and kids eat free every Monday and Tuesday. Also it is 2 for 1 happy hour till 7pm every day.
The menu is vast and varied and offers a selection of starters including Buffalo wings, stuffed jalapeno peppers and stuffed potato skins stuffed with cheese, bacon, green onions, and soured cream. There is a selection of soups and salads and then for main/entrée there is a wide selection of chicken, seafood, steak, chops and ribs, burgers and sandwiches.
There is a great kids menu with plenty to choose from.
And if you like them they do a vast array of tempting cocktails.
Manny’s is a relaxed restaurant serving great food at great prices which won’t break the bank, we will certainly return again and can highly recommend that you give it a try.
Manny’s Chophouse is situated on the 27 going south just passed southern dunes and is on the right hand side.
