Im sure i read a review on there that gave those seats a good review, though i have been on a few review sites now. Ill check it again... though at the end of the day i dont mind the flight going, so dont mind where i sit.

Thanks Laurel... i have just read on VA site about releasing more seats on on line check in, so i will just do that. Did you fly PE too? was there much more difference from Economy?

Yes we flew PE both ways.

Its all a matter of opinion but I think PE is worth the extra and we thought it was pretty good on the Airbus. Leather seats and a fantastic entertainment system. We've flown PE on the Airbus twice this year in May and November and not been disapointed but as I say its all a matter of opinion.

The review I read referred to a limited seat recline in that row and the K seats have the entertainment system under them. Your call of course but in that row you'll be virtually the last off the plane and behind everybody else at Immigration.

Wait untill you check in at th airport then ask there and they take your credit card we did that last July and was worth the money

You get the upgrade at the airport if it is available. The earlier you are the more likely to get the upgrade.

If you booked your flights direct with Virgin you can call them on 0844 209 7777 and pre-book extra leg room seats. If you booked through an agent you can book them at the airport when you check in but its first come first served.

Watch out for the exit row seats. My daughter booked exit row seats and was allocated seats on Row 49. Other passengers used this row as a means of crossing the aircraft to the toilets or just as a walkway to stretch their legs and when she stetched her legs out people were constantly asking her to move them or stepping over them. She thought the extra cost of £50 was a waste of money.

We are only flying PE from Orlando to Manchester and at the moment when i log into 'Manage my Booking' on VA website it is not showing me the seating plan, its the 747. Is it still 2-3-2 on the 747?

If you are flying on the 747 then you will be on VS73 (out) and VS74 (back)

The seat configuration in PE on the 747 depends whether you are on the normal/lower deck or upper deck. Its a simple 2-2 on the upper deck and 2-4-2 on the lower deck. We've flown PE in both and did not like the lower deck. The upper deck is quieter as there are only 42 seats there and its a dedicated PE cabin but it depends how many there are in your party and whether you wish to all sit together.
