    3 month rentals

    Hi,

Im after some advice. Can someone tell me where I can find a website/contact where I can rent a house in the Orlando area for a 3 month period between september & december 2005. It doesnt have to be in a touristy area just as long it within around 30 minute drive from the attractions.

Secondly I have been offered a 3 bed/2 bath house in Palm keys Davenport for £2000 for these dates. The guy has sent me photos & the house looks quite pleasant but there was a guy on a forum the other day slagging of Palm Keys saying it was a trailer park. Can anyone give me any advice on this.

    Thanks

    Daniel

    Daniel,
Your best bet is to put a general enquiry through this site to the villa owners. Many owners would consider long term rentals. This way you will be able to review the properties offered along with cost, and then make your choice.

    Hi Daniel
I doubt you'll find any villas at that rate for 3 months, that works out to around £166 a week which very few owners could afford to sustain for 3 months and still be able to pay their bills, but when chooising a place to stay then obviously other factors than price should be taken into account.

Palm Key village is a mobile home type park rather than solid construction houses and has a community pool rather than private which is why some of their running costs are lower.
There is nothing wrong with the development, its next door to us at Hampton Lakes but you should be aware of what you are getting rather than expect to find something equating to the villas on the website and then be disappointed when you arrive.

As has been said the best thing is to put out a general enquiry and find what is available (obviously 3 months in one place needs to be booked quickly as otherwise very few people would have that long a gap.

Have you thought of looking in the Orlando Sentinal or other local papers?

£2000 for 3 months is cheap, even for a mobile home!!

You couldn't rent one from Haven for that!!

It would have to be at least double that for a Villa surely or am I dreaming?
