Totally agree with you Carla. Just because people wear football (soccer) shirts does not necessarily make them a hooligan.
What many people have also negated to mention is that not all football hooligans wear football shirts!!
It's the individual people that causes the "bother" not what they are wearing

I read in the paper that some pubs and clubs in Leicester have banned anyone wearing Burberry, Aquascutum and Henri LLoyd. None of that is cheap either, all designer names.. where will it all end[msnsad]
