Take some dollars, take some travellers cheques, but above all take a credit card.
I'd always advise to take more than you think (can you tell I'm into shopping?) as you can always bring it home with you if you're unsuccessful at spending it all.![]()
Seriously though, take Herbie's advice and you can't go far wrong. If there are just the two of them, then around £800 - £1500 should be adequate to more than adequate, as long as it's backed up with a credit card, just in case.

Whatever methods you choose take lots, use £1,000 as a guideline, depending on what they want to do. Our trips cost us (2 adults) about £4,000 all in everytime we go but that is living it up a bit!![]()

I suggest getting a Nationwide credit card or even opening a flexaccount with debit card with them. They have a great exchange rate and dont charge any extra for using the cards abroad.
Thanks every one After long debate they decided what to do Funny you think you have problems when they are kids boy, when there adults its even worse
