    One Minute's Silence

I am sure you will all join in the one minute's silence at 1.46pm (UK).

Yes. We've also got a huge Stars and Stripes and Union Jack stuck up in our porch, courtesy of my husband, today.

Gosh, that was quite eery, the whole building here was silent, no phones either - guess everyone everywhere showed their respect.

I can't stop thinking about how all the families must be feeling today - can't believe it's a year.

Have just got home and wanted to share this with you.

I was in my car at 1.46 so I pulled over and stopped to sit quietly, but I need not have bothered - the whole town went silent - all the cars just stopped in the roads - it really moved me to think that everybody cared enough to just pause and reflect on those terrible events.

Yes I did. The people at Ground Zero all had photos of their lost loved ones. That really made me want to cry.

Seeing Denise Robertson on This Morning so visibly moved brought a huge lump to my throat.
