Animal Kingdom's key attractions are the Safari, Dinosaur, and It's Tough to Be a Bug. When you get in, go to the back of the park, get fast passes for Safari, then work your way to the others.

You can't beat Kali River Rapids on a warm day either.

You're right, a water ride is essential in the summer. Animal Kingdom is the HOTTEST park at DW. They seem to have left out shade on many (not all) waiting areas.
If you don't want to get wet by going on the Kali river rapids, locate yourself on the bridge overlooking the ride.
From this great vantage point, you can made the river rapid riders even wetter - there are squirters located on the bridge parapets which turn a hose pipe onto the riders! It might take a couple of tries to get your aim and timing right but it's well worth it! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

My favourite is watching the Gorillas. I think they are magnificent.
You could leave me there all day and I would never tire of their antics-and their surroundings are brilliant.
My second favourite is the ruined temples of India-to me they have given it such an authentic look.
I was really cross with my mum last time for rushing through it-without taking time to savour the atmosphere and notice the pictures on the walls etc
