The Launch scheduled for 02:19 this morning was cancelled because of weather conditions.

They are going to try again at approx the same time tomorrow 03 Aug.
The 'window'is only 12 seconds and they have untill 14 Aug to get it away otherwise a very long delay. All launch times will be approx 2am.

Given the season,s first tropical storm that is offshore and heading North there is every chance of further delays.

Alex (the storm that is) is now heading east... And we didn't get in till 1.30 am this morning so stayed up to watch on local channel 13.
Still probably set the alarm for tomorrow morning.

We were at the Launch and all 900 people were out there with minutes to go when it was canceled!!! what a let down, kennedy were not supporting it the day after, so we decided that after staying in a hotel we had better head off back to our villa, went back down the coast and went to coccoa beach, we set the alarm and watched the launch from the villa - yes we could see it from 75 miles away - pitty is wasen't at Kennedy as that was a brillent sight as it was all floodlit
    OH WELL!!

We were there as well! It was stopped at T-minus 7 minutes because of a risk of lightning.

We set our alarms and watched from outside our villa in Davenport the next morning, all we could see was a small dot of light slowing rising 60 odd miles away. I was really looking forward to the light and noise from an “up close” launch.
