Some rides have pockest in which you can put your shioes and socks to keep them dry. Usually the raft type rides have these.

Hutch, there are signs all over the ride stating that you have to keep your shoes on at all times, so just wanted to add that if people do take their shoes off (I always wear sandals so no worries!), you have to wait until you're out of the sight of the staff or they shout at you over the loudspeakers!!

Only problem here is that these 'stay dry' pockets are usually full of water!!!

The staff will tell you not to take your shoes off before you get on the raft but once you are on they let you. We have seen this happen, one lady had to put her shoes back on before she went on and then they said to her it was alright to take them off once she was on the raft.

Sorry but anyone who wears a Poncho is a wuss. They also get an extra soaking from anyone manning the water guns.

If you try to board Popeye and Bluto's Barges without shoes, the staff sometimes make you wait in the locker section just off the revolving platform, while you put your shoes on. This gives them the opportunity to allow loads of other people through ahead of you.

Poncho's are definitely for losers !

There's nothing more enjoyable than watching people who have never been on the ride before getting absolutely soaked !!!!!![}]

I have never understood the point of going on a water ride with a poncho on!! Kind of defeats the object of the ride dont you think?!!

Tatally agree the whole point of the water ride is to laugh at every one getting a soaking. I made a big drama out of choosing my seat on Popeyes for minimal drenching....there is no good seat everyone gets it at some point and while your sitting on the wall wringing out your socks you can giggle at every one dripping as they are coming off
