I always make my list on the PC as suggested and add to it as I think of things.
It starts with:
Passport, tickets, money, insurance documents, driving licence - as long as I have those, I don't worry too much about anything else, as everything else can easily be bought out there.
I usually forget my sunglasses and have to buy a pair at the airport though!

We are going on Saturday, and I am now besides myself with excitement.We have had an ongoing list, since our last trip.This time, just for a change, we are being sensible about clothing (always take faaaarrr too much). However.... have spent months getting bits and pieces for the villa to take over there, and are now worried about getting it from the airport to the villa. May overpack the boot and tie with rope, or get a taxi to go along with us. Anyway I DON'T CARE I AM ABOUT TO GO and that's all that matters.

Is this the first trip to your villa or one of many??
Can't start to imagine what it must be like to go to YOUR OWN villa!!
Hopefully it will be our turn next April/May when ours is ready!

I got two pairs, one for the UK and one for Florida which I leave in the closet there - I also have a cheapo pair I wear on the way to the airport here and on the way to the villa there - that way I can't forget them or lose them en route!

Pontelad, No it's not our first time. We bought our villa six years ago. But the novelty of going just does'nt wear off! Each time we go though I always seem to have accumulated seemingly small items to take along. But when it comes to packing they don't seem small. Your time will come, and it will have been worth the wait! Chloe
