    Is it busy in June....

Looking for the second and third weeks in June next year... what are the queues like in the parks... are there any times when the US kids are on holiday ? We can go anytime after the 21st of May but was trying to avoid our Spring break....Thanks in advance.

It busy most of the year, but with eceptionally busy times like the one you mentioned, spring break. But at the time you are thinking off the uk schools will not have broke up for the summer hols so it will not be that bad and also the weather is not as humid at that time f year.

If you plan it just before the schools break up that is a good time. We came back on the 17th June after 3 weeks, and towards the end the kids were starting to appear. I searched to see when the US/UK holiday were and worked it out by those dates. I would never go in July or August but I do not have kids so I have the luxury of choosing when to go.

Just got back yesterday after two weeks, went out on the 26th June. Was nowhere near as busy as when I went in August, but busier than May in my experience. Got busier in the 2nd week and over the 4th July weekend, but didn't queue more than 30mins for anything.

    Hi Steve.
June can be quite busy,we tend to stick to May and Sept now and find it great.

Are you travelling with school age kids yourself Steve?
If so so check with your local education authority as I have heard tales of schools fining parents up to £10 per day for unauthorised holidays[msnoo]

We went in JUne last year and have booked for June next year. We found that the middle 3 weeks are bliss. Very quiet! American schools do not tend to break up till early July, the scottish schools break up on the 24th June next year and the english half term finished in the first week in June. There are also very few school parties there compared to July when lots of parties from S America descend.

June also counts as low season for most flights etc due to the holiday times. We saved a packet with virgin compared to July and August prices.

This is the only time I would consider going now. Last time we were at the Magic Kingdom for opening and did Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Astro-orbitors, Goofy's Barnstormer, Snow White, Small World and the Carousel twice in just over an hour!! Walked straight on them all. One day at Epcot you would have struggled to spot many other people going round the world showcase!

    Enjoy!

Just before you get too carried away, the local schools in Florida start their summer break around the 3rd week in May.

May be so but the experience we have had is that it is a quiet time to visit which makes queues very short and manageable. Even if the Florida schools are off the majority of schools are not on holiday.

    Enjoy!

    June is getting busier.

Its the time of year we normally like to visit Orlando, but we may rethink after the increase in crowds this year.
