    Fastpass/Universal Express

Can you get FP/UE with a child's park ticket for rides that they are unlikely to be tall enough for? e.g. can use use a child (3-9) ticket to get a fastpass for the Hulk (which a parent or older child could then use)? Thanks.

Don't quote me on this but I think you might be able to. They will not be able to limit the height restricted rides based on age as you can get some very big younger children who might be tall enough to go on rides that older children would not. They thus cannot really limit the tickets by age.

We used both when we were over.
Both work really well. When the fast pass is issued if I remember rightly there is nothing on there to state whether they are adult or children and to be honest they don't get checked too throughly. I don't think they discriminate between adult/children and heights for rides because you may have a tall younger child who wants to ride and how would they know?
Actually we were really lucky at Universal, just as we went in the park, a family came up to us and said they were going to make our day, I thought what are they selling[msneek]!!!! But no they were just leaving and gave us their Express Plus cards so that we could go to the front (nearly) on the major rides, we were so lucky. They were so nice! Who knows they may be on the forum, thank you .

But since it is a CHILD's ticket, I would have thought only an older child (still in the 3-9 age bracket) can use that FP/UE. Rainyday asked if an ADULT could use it and my assumption is that he/she could not. But I may be wrong.

I thought the question was can you use any ticket to get a fast pass, either Adult or child
    and then use them.

We did this last year, As only me and emily go on the fats rides, we got a fast pass on the first
then from the next ride with wifeys ticket and sams (kid), So you can do it

The only restriction that seems to apply is that the person whose ticket you're using MUST have entered the park on that day.

We tried to get Fast/Express passes using tickets of people who had stayed in the villa and got an Invalid Ticket message.

Same here. We tried this at both Disney and Universal, but no joy.
