Visa Application at US Embassy, London

My husband and I recently applied for, and were approved, for B2 visas to allow us to use our Englewood villa for more than 90 days at a time. The process is labourious and I assumed, wrongly, that the mention of a four hour wait at the Embassy would be a 'worst case scenario'. We stood on the pavement for two hours, followed by another three hours within the Embassy along with approximately 300 other people. Comfortable shoes, something to eat, drink and read are essential. Not everyone that day were granted visas. Total cost £70.00 per person plus the cost of getting to London.

Fun isnt it? And they make all the appointments for early am so you have to stay in London overnight and then you have to wait for hours,

Yes, the last appointment is 1.30 p.m, we managed to travel up and back the same day but by noon they were 2 hours behind.
