then renamed as The Gaylord Palms-bottom of I Drive. It looked as if it was about to open when we were there at Xmas-just wondered if it has and what's it like.
Is it the sort of place that might do great buffets?

always look on the bright side

I think Gaylord Palms should be thankful he didn't have a surname like mine. Imagine the poor man having to go through life being called Gaylord Freke

Gaylord Palms was up and running when we were out last week. We sailed past many times on the Osceola Parkway, and will pop in for a drink when we're out for longer in the summer.
Looks frightfully swish and enormous - but really stuck in the middle of nowhere - although obviously very near to Disney.
Don't remember seeing any great fuss in the Orlando Sentinel - did I miss something?

So I'm no further forward- but I'll let you know as and when I find out-as what would sunday be without a leisurely brunch!
