    Orlando radio

I picked up a tip from another thread- about listening to K92fm online- I love contry music- sad I know!! I have a problem with listening as It seems to cut out and then restart again every few mins- why is that? can I do anything about it?? Also happens on UK raido too.

That will have been from me - I love listening to K92 FM whilst I am working as it really puts me in the Florida mood and focuses me [msnsmile].

It does cut out every now and then but this is the nature of listening to radio over the net - it's usually due to a temporary spike in traffic over the connection from the radio station site and will pick up where it left off very quickly.

Sounds like a buffering problem when its streaming to you. You could try telling it to use less bandwidth which would increase your buffers. There are loads of variables, what are you doing, how fast is your machine how much RAM what sort of network connnection.

Yep - I love to listen to K92fm whilst working on my PC and it does cut out occasionally but always comes back[msnsmile2] As mentioned I believe it is a buffer problem. Will have to get Lee working on it as I love to listen and almost feel like I am back in Florida.

Thanks Guys- I like Mary Chapin Carpenter as well as those in your list - the others in my family don't like country so I have to find stuff that I like but that they can tolerate...
    Daughter likes heavy metal
    son likes hip hop
    Hubby likes rockn roll!!
We have fun in the car by me collecting all our cds together and playing ....guess that song......!!!
So I have to select the country ones carefully cos the traditional country twang gives it away in the first 2 seconds - Mary Chapin Carpenter has some rock-y intros....
Has anyone ever been to any country concerts in Orlando?? Have there been any???
Are there any more good country radio stations in US .... and what about UK???

I always love listening to the Sunday afternoon (or late night here) Kim Komando slot on 580 WDBO.
