Good idea, but if someone doesnt speak English, would they not be doing a search in their own
language and not even come to this site ???.

i'm not sure how they work

but i've seen this site on a search engine recently and am thinking if it was written in another language they would come here because obviously there's quite a wealth of knowledge untapped in that area

I think for someone to transpose all the threads into another language would take forever
and what language would it be, one two etc

Its an option, but in my opinion not viable

Most people coming to the states speak and read and write pretty well in English. Plus there are a few of us on here that do speak other languages so not a problem at all.

My very first enquiry generated by my own website got me really excited - then I opened it and realised it was all in Spanish! I could work out enough from my limited language skills although I have never learnt Spanish to see that the dates were when we would be visiting ourself so couldn't do it. I thought at first it was a wind up from an engineer I'd worked with who had moved to California and married a Brazilian lady. I translated an answer using Babelfish as I figured we couldn't do it so they wouldnt be in touch again so just hoped the translation wasnt anything untoward.
