You wouldnt have to pay customs tax on them as they were purchased by you in your country

We had this problem the first time we went to Florida in 1990. We bought a new video camera to take with us, only to find ourselves stopped and asked to prove that we had bought it here. Needless to say we didn't have a receipt on us, and this was after our cases had been slashed open on the way home, so we weren't best pleased LOL.

They took our word for it eventually, especially as the power supply was a UK one. We have never had a problem since, and regularly take camera's, video cam's and laptops.
