Xmas opening hours

As we're in orlando this christmas (from dec 23,2004 trough jan 3, 2005) I was wondering what the opening hours are, for the shops(malls), restaurants, on the day BEFORE xmas Dec 24, 2004 and christmas eve, and how about Dec 25 (christmas day), dec 31 and jan 1, 2005??
Do I have to book in advance for dec. 24 and 25 for christmas dinner everywhere?

I'm familiar with the park opening hours etc.. but I'm totally lost about the opening hours previously stated dates (days)

Any information on these topics would be great.

Thanks in advance.
Cor

The parks are all open on all holidays, including Christmas day. Everywhere should be open on 24 December. Apart from the parks, very few places are open on Christmas Day.

You do need to book in advance for Christmas day dinner, usually well in advance, as everywhere that's open tends to be very busy. You can either dine at the parks that day or most large hotels have a special meal available. It depends on what sort of meal you're looking for?

As I mentioned before I wasn't talking about the parks...
What I mean what are the hours for the Shops, (not the disney shops)restaurants, malls
we're arriving dec 23 late at night, so we need to do some shopping to get some food, the next day
but at what times, the shops supermarkets, on dec 24...

But..... thanks anyway

Shops and retsurants will all be open 24th though may have earlier closing hours. eg we went to Festival Bay Mall last Xmas Eve at 6 pm and it was just shutting. Very little is open Xmad Day. Some of the shops and fast foods may open with limited opening hours, paricularly the shops owned by Asians who dont celebrate Xmas. If you want a proper meal in a hotel or restaurant if will be reservations only.
Sorry, I thought I gave you the answer! <blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Everywhere should be open on 24 December. Apart from the parks, very few places are open on Christmas Day.
Christmas day is really quiet everywhere else other than the parks as everything's closed. Most US families spend the day quietly at home with their families (much the same as the UK!).
