OK, enough w/the suspense. What is marmite, where do you get it, and what do you do with it? Wear it, eat it, smear it, what?

If you search for mozzie bites online......you get more info.....I can't put the links here because a lot have villas for rent on them........
my wife takes "garlic tablets" for 2 weeks before and during the holiday which does seem to work. The tablets can be purchased in a "non odour" formula (so they don't repeat on you) and you only have to take one dose a day.

When we lived in the US we had to import Marmite but you may find it under Vegemite; theory is vitamin B(something) is missing & Marmite has loads of that, you actually eat it. But it is very very concentrated so spread it thin. Actually there is a strong belief if you didn’t have it at birth you’ll not be able to stand the taste, I & my family love it…

We got bitten by mozzies for the first time this trip!! We made the mistake of going to the Friday evening Rodeo in Kissimmee, on South Hoagland. Never again. The "evening" cost $18 for 1.5 hours and was awful, a total waste of time and money, and to add insult to injury the mozzies had a field day and all 7 of us suffered!!![}][}

I'm afraid that if Marmite is the way to ward off mozzies - I'll take my chances.[:0]YUK YUK YUK[msnwink]
