I went to St Stephens so know Hunters Chase VERY well, one of my parents friends still lives at number 25! I have sympathy with your kids it wasn't much fun being a teenager in a village where the last bus was at 7pm! We all learnt to drive as soon as we were 17!
Would love a villa type meet some time
Hi Tony and Caroline
We live in Morden in Surrey - not too far from Purley or Godstone.
Reading all thru the postings seems not many owners live in the South.
Hello Ely
i think its because its always so hot & sunny down here in the
south, that lots more people from the north take greater advantage
of Florida's great climate, if you believe that, you will believe
anything!! cause its dull and cold here at the moment !! [msnsmile2]
Hello Caroline
We know jackie & Dave very well as they are our next door neighbours !!
(Small world aint it !!)

IT HASN'T AFFECTED ME THOUGH. PARDON?[/quote]Spent many hours walking to and from Heald Green when I was a student nurse doing my psychiatric placement at Cheadle Royal.
Can you still get the train to Oxford Rd train station in Manchester....... does the station still exist????[msneek]
Gosh we definitely need a Southerners meet up!
Tony & Tracey, please say Caroline Copperwheat (maiden name) sends her best wishes to them both, I went to school with their daughter Michelle (Mitch) and Jackie was one of my late Mum's best friends.
