we stayed at this resort in the keys last year...
very nice has its own dolphin hospital...

the complex is a man made island..

only problem we had was to find a diff bar or eating house was a half hour drive either way...

resturants in the complex pretty good though..

we stayed for 3 nights while we toured the keys..

A superior resort for the Middle Keys. Unfortunately, as JeffC noted, there is not much around it. The town of Marathon is about 15 minutes south of the resort but little to do there. If you're looking for a quiet, stress-free few days, you can't go wrong with the resort.
