snacks and drinks on the plane, just trying to make sure I

Just depends who you fly with. The majority of scheduled flights ie Virgin & BA dont charge and the majority of charter will charge but it can change with what airline you fly!

Just to confuse the issue a bit here, most of the US sceduled carriers have now started to charge for some drinks (possibly only the alcoholic ones).

We flew with Brittania last year and there was a Drinking water tap near the galley where you could fill your own cup/bottle, I had never noticed this before - do all flights have them ?

We travelled US Airways and American Airlines this year and both charge for Alcoholic ones (£3/US5/Euro 5 each drink). All the the other drinks are free.

It's not true - we flew last minute with Britannia last October and had to pay for meals.
