I used to drink 2 or 3 bottles of champagne (small ones)! when we went on holiday, always felt a bit guilty because hubby was driving so could not join me. The last trip earlier this month I decided not to and to be honest felt better for it when I arrived especially when hubby makes me stay up to 2100hrs local time to beat the jetlag![}]

Goes straight to your head!!!!!!!!!!!I suppose it is ok on European flights but I have weaned myself of on the trans Atlantic and then drink gallons when we are on holiday! Although the real McCoy is a lot more expensive than Europe. We got married in Las Vegas and hubby bought me a bottle of Dom P vintage and paid over twice the price than back home, oh well you only get married once, or is it twice!!

We always have on celebratory drink at the start of the flight, just as a toast to the forthcoming trip, and then it's strictly water from then onwards.

We also try not to over eat, and as a result, we normally land very refreshed and go off and do stuff on our first night in Florida, with no ill effects whatsoever re : jetlag etc.

    Go to www.virgin-atlantic.com

At the top of the page you will see the section flying with us, click on this and then choose entertainment, then movies!!!!
