They are meant to ask you for proof of age until the age of 30 (to allow for anyone under 21 trying to drink!)

I should be flattered if I were you Jacqui (!!), sadly I never get asked to produce my passport (- what does that say about me <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>), on the other hand Chris always buys the drinks and he is very grey haired (what there is of it!) so it is hardly a surprise. I did have hassle at pleasure island when I wanted to buy 2 drinks at a concert, had to point out who I was with before I was allowed the second one - in a plastic mug, big wow! Such an adult experience.

I always carry our passports on us as we have driven everywhere we go and you have to carry your passports in case you are stopped.
