    Honeymoon in Florida

    Hi Everyone

Apologies if this is in the Wrong Section

We are going to Florida in less than 3 months (Woo Hoo) 4/9/04 for our Honeymoon with our two girls aged 4 & 2.

Just a few questions to ask if thats ok ?

    1) Staying in Days Inn - International Drive Has anyone been here or past it. Whats it like ?

    2) What is the best Ticket to get for Disneyland the 7-Day Hopper or this new 10 Day World Pass ?

    3) Also we want to go to Seaworld for 1 Day is it best to get the ticket here (UK) or can you get 1 dat tickets on International Drive ?

    Thanks for you time

    Kevin

1] Days Inn - pretty much like any of that string of hotels - I Drive is nearer o Universal and Seaworld than the Kissimmee area.
2] I woul say the smallest hopper - you can always upgrade, but it is a personal thing - I am an annual pass holder, so maybe I shouldn'rt comment
3] Get the ticket there or on the ticket section here - you can get one day tickets, and sometimes [ at the moment I feel] you get a day free also.

Have a lovely time, and a long and happy married life together.

I will probably get the 7- Day Hopper, regarding the water parks is it safe for Little kids ie are there baby pools

    Hi Kevin,
We have two lots of friends and some relatives who all bought the 10 day passes, and over the course of the 14 days they were there ,none of them managed to use them all up! There's so many other things to do and see, they all said they felt tied to Disney because of the 10 day passes. I think the 7 day is a wise choice unless you're there for 3 weeks or more!

i would agree with that. we had 3 days left at the end of our stay and unlike the 7 day pass the 10 ones expire 30 days after the first use. I will definitly stick to a 7 day hopper in future.

Don't do too much - your girls will need lazy days interpersed with park days. And so will you!

Congratulations and hope you have a wonderful time, will skip over the Days Inn as we were less than impressed but did only spend a night there and are used to villas so that kind of fogs your opinion. Definately go for the 7 day hopper and not the 10. Check out the ticket link at the top of the page as they do great deals and are amoung the cheapest around.

All the water parks are great for the little ones they have lots of baby pools and slides. My daughter is five and has been going to Orlando for two years. Blizzard beach has a good area for under fives, i've never been to wet n wild. Typhoon lagoon is good but not so good for the smaller ones as blizzard beach i would say. Good luck with the wedding!! Our anniversary is 1st September (14 years!!!)

Snap again - 10 years this september for us and we spent a week in Orlando for our honeymoon too (and a week in St Lucia - beautiful).
When we go down now our boys love the water parks and there is plenty of safe stuff for them - they are a bit wimpy and don't like the slides. We haven't been to Blizzard beach yet though.
