Dont forget to take directions to the villa and the code numbers for the alarm/lock box (if the villa has these).
Once you have ticked everything off your list, just relax and count down the days.
Hope you have a great holiday.

And the other vital ingredients are insurance and any medication taken by any of the family.
If we've got all the paperwork and medication needed then we can live without anything else or buy it there.
There is one thing that I do
I photo-copy all the documents and leave one copy back home so it could be faxed to us
if we lose any of the originals, and have another copy which we put inside another case

Hi Elaine
I always think that I have forgotten something or that something will be wrong with the booking
I do the same as Kym as well every now and then I will check my holiday envelope and we dont go until next March
Chris that is a good idea and one I never would have thought of must do that from now on
Kind Regards

We always take copies of the travel documents (easier with e-tickets) and also the photo page of our passports.
With all the email confirmations you could send them to yourself at a hotmail account , then you can access them from anywhere.
My Mum did this when she was picking my car up from the airport and couldn't remember where I said I would leave it. Her only description of the car is its a big silver thing!

Thank goodness, I'm normal
I spent some time this afternoon going through my folder and all the important stuff is there (I think). Great idea sending myself all the email confirmations to my hotmail account - thanks! I'll also copy all the important stuff this evening and leave a copy with OH's business partner (who has access to a fax machine!) just in case. I've decided that I don't like these e-ticket thingies - I much prefer having the 'traditional' tickets in my paw. Not sure why - it just seems to make it feel more 'real' and I knew where I was with them (blimey, I sound ancient!).
I'm sure I'll relax once we're on our way but I think I may lose some weight between now and then, the way my stomach's constantly churning!
Remember your Credit Card!!!!
When We went to Florida in April, I too booked everthing seperately and had no problems ..............only forgot one item $2000 in cash that I had gotten when the dollar rate was really good and only remembered it at the airport....all I can say is thank god for Visa!!
Have a great holiday!

Elaine, you are probably too normal! We went to Orlando for 3 weeks this spring and I planned the trip for almost a year, tearing my hair out several times about something that I might have forgotten. In the end, I had so many pages of lists, maps, itineraries etc that I typed them all out and had them bound as a book at the local stationers. So, you are doing al right. Have a good trip!
