    7-Seater Car Hire

    Hiya Experts,

I have a total of 7 people (including me) who will be over in Orlando in August. A previous thread has convinced me that a 7-seater is the way to go (instead of making multiple runs between the airport and villa on pick-up day).

Could I pick your brains as to how much luggage space the 7-seaters have? We have a part of 5 adults and 2 children. The luggage is likely to be 2 or 3 large holdalls, probably not suitcases.

John - can I ask you a question too please. We may want to hire a second car for our second week but won't know for sure until dad scopes out the place and decides if he likes the idea of driving in FL or not. Is it possible for us to book a second car for a week while we are out there or do we have to make all the arrangements from England before we leave?

Ta for the advice ... Steve.

I don`t think that luggage space should be a prob there are five us and although we don`t take a huge amount of luggage we do take two large cases and a few bags, and a few more on the way back, there is quite a lot leg room so if push comes to shove you could stow a bag on the floor

Steve, no problem with booking an additional car with us whilst you are over there, but try to give as much notice as you can (1 or 2 days if poss). Also ideally provide an email address / fax number we can use to get the voucher to you.

Thanks Roger. I'm sure my MC won't mind receiving a fax for me. I will make sure you have all the details when we book the first car (probably this weekend).

Holdalls mean it's much easier to fit things in. As well as space behind the back seats you can squeeze stuff in between the seats in the front two rows.

We managed 7 people + luggage ( 2 very large cases and 2 small hodals and 7 pieces of hand luggage)
