Automatic seat belts

Some vehicles have seat belts linked to the doors opening so that, as soon as you close the vehicle door and the engine is started, the seat belt starts coming for you!

We had a car like this the first time we went to Florida and found it a bit disconcerting but it certainly concentrated the mind on 'belting up' each time we went out!

We've also had cars where the doors lock as you start to drive. Bit of a shock the first couple of times but you get used to it.
