    What day to visit ?

We are visiting Orlando last week of October.

We are travelling Saturday/Saturday and have sun/fri in Orlando.

We plan on making a visit to Animal Kingdom Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday (maybe even Friday but not likely).

We understand that residents at the Disney Hotels get access to the park one hour early on mondays and fridays and thus would not visit the park any of those days (we stay off site).

Which day would you recommend for a visit ? Is there one day which is better than another ?

Avoid AK on Mondays and Fridays as these are EMH days for that park for 2004 and therefore busiest. This stands for Extra Magic Hour when Disney Resort guesta are allowed a full hour earlier than others. They therefore prefer these days and use up the best parking spaces, FPs etc.

Nostromo is right, we have been resort guests and do exactly that! The Safari really must be done early in the morning too, so once in, walk with speed to the safari, ignoring everything else as you go, if you don't do it early,or at least last attraction of the day, I would almost say,'miss it out, cause there is nothing to see'. October is a lovely time of year to go to Orlando! Have a great trip![8D]
