As far as I know, gambling is illegal in Florida apart from those which are run by the Seminole native Americans. Probably the nearest casino boats are going to be around the Miami/Ft Lauderdale/Cape Canaveral area.

If you use a popular search engine and try 'casino ships in florida' you'll find lots of info.

    Hi Steve,
There are two casino cruise ships that go out of Port Canaveral( Near Cocoa Beach)
The Sterling and Sun Cruz are the two companies. I think they both do afternoon and evening cruises. You need to book with them in advance, usually by phone. The trips last about 4/5 hours and the ships usually both leave at around the same times. They steam out to beyond the six mile limit and then cruise up and down the coast until ready to return. There are the usual card / roulette tables + bandits. There is no charge for the journey and there is a free buffet meal served, and some drinks are free. The Sterling is the bigger of the two ships (& perhaps better stabilised for those who find the going a bit choppy). You will need your passport with you ,and I think the min. age is 21.
There is also a new HardRock Hotel on the way down the I-4 (around the Busch gardens turnoff) which I believe has a casino as it is on Indian reservation land. I didn't get a chance to check it out yet as it's just been completed.
Hope that's of some use for you.

    Happy gambling!!

Hey, thanks for the knowledge. The question was for one of my guests, not me personally ... errr ... honest! Although I do have a bit of a soft spot for Las Vegas as well as Orlando. I don't think I've ever 'won' but after much practice (purely for research purposes[msnwink]) I can lose gracefully now.

    Steve ,
It's not the "winning "that counts, it's the thought that "one day----"
    Bit like the lottery really.
    P.S. I do believe you-----honest!

You're so right Kevin. One day ... one day ... let's all say it together ... one day.

Errr, could someone pass me another quarter?
