    Sausages are very spicy over here.......you can get English type ones in the breakfast part of the freeze department in the supermarket....'Jones'....All Natural hearty links....they are pork....

    Fresh fruit kebabs skewering different tropical fruits and then covering lightly in syrup and barbequing and then serve with fresh whipped cream laced with rum or cointreau.

    Instead of bananas, when cooking a savory dish substitute these for plaintain - very freely available in Walmart and Publix.

    If its very hot on the Cape...we have to cook outside.....cooking inside can send the temp up really fast......and then the A/C has to work over time.....

    I think a/c should be installed everywhere these days. We are on the south coast and it was really hot and sticky here yesterday too! Not complaining though - love the good weather when I don't have to cook![8D]
