We really need a new unit......our one is 23 years old...

We were heading towards hot weather......but its just humid today......someone in FL on another site had a tornado touchdown today....I'm not sure where he is in FL.......

Its not worth the expense, would only ever need to use it for a week or so every year, thats
how long our summer tends to last

Not that the US dont like to be outdone at anything Chris I read in the paper that the hottest place in the UK yesterday was the US air base at Lakenheath.

Just have to go one better. Mind you apart from Heathrow, its normally Northolt Airdrome
that reaches the highest temps round here. And thats run by

The second year we were here sumer lasted 6 months....most of the time in the 90s......last year was also very hot.....but not so long....the first year we never turned on the A/C......

A friend of ours was in Miami the day a tornado touched down downtown, he sat on the balcony of the Hyatt and watched it, about 5 years ago. He said it was amazing what it picked up, trees and allsorts, luckily though as it was downtown there were no cows!

Last time in Florida we bought those disposable Bar-b-Ques what a waste of time two hours later and Keith was still trying to cook burgers gave up in the end and finnished them off in the oven. My advise hire a gas one I wish we had
