    Height restrictions on rides

Is there a general minimum height for kids using theme park rides, I would like to take my grandchildren next year but am concerned as to whether they might be disappointed if they were not allowed on certain rides. I cant wait to go back.

There is. It is usually 48" for most big rides in all the parks, but I am not sure if there are any up tp 52". For some of the lesser rides, the restriction is lower but there is a proviso that the child be accompanied by an adult.

I was on this ride last week and you would not want a young child going on this. It does take your breath away especially the first drop.

A good webiste to look at is allearsnet.com as they have a section on height restrictions and it goes through ride by ride and how tall they have to be. Most of the Disney ones seem to be about 40-42inches if I remember rightly but it will tell you on that site. Obviously the thrill rides (space mountain, tower of terror, aerosmith rock n roller coaster and mission space) are a little higher.

It depends on the ages ofyour grandchildren but we have taken very young children and they have had a ball!

There has been another post on here recently asking the same question and I listed the heights of all the rides from all the main parks. try searching for it.
