Eating out in Theme Parks

We have taken snacks in, the only park that we didnt wasnt AK.

When asked what we had inside we said it was cold drinks for the
kids and a couple of snacks for them. At Busch the lady asked Sam
if she could have some

We usually take light lunches in for our kids, either one of the "Lunchables" type box meals or a drink and some fruit, never had a problem at any of the parks.

you must try a turkey leg in frontier land, not for the taste, but its fun trying to avoid all the birds that want exactly what you've got but they dont want to pay. straying from the subject ( sorry ) flyrr100 i notice the jags picture, and although its a little embarasing to admit it im a big bucs fan. how is jacksonville gearing up for the super bowl next year, i cant wait for the season to start but with all the changes im not sure how the bucs will cope. going to miss some big guys. p.s. has brunell gone yet, i bought his " 8 " shirt last year in orlando, and jinxed him ( i have 3 bucs shirts, one sapp and two keyshawn ) get the picture.

Just checking do children 3 and under not pay for breakfast at the character meals?

We take lunch with us to all parks as my son and I have special dietary requirements , and most of the fast food is no good for us. We had no trouble taking a cool bag into any park anywhere. we took lunch for 7. The children carried their own water bottles which lightened the load .

Yes it can be a pain to carry it - if you have a pushchair with you then it would be easy, or you can leave it in a locker , but that means more walking accross the park.You can spread it out amongst the adults or stuff it in one bag and take it in turns to carry it.

What it does mean is that as soon as someone is hungry lunch is ready . We saved so much money it was worth doing for us.

All our eating out we did outside the parks - we came out mid afternoon and went back in the evening.

Sometimes we came out at lunchtime, had a buffet meal on the way home (its cheaper at lunchtimes) , then took sandwiches in with us in the evening which we ate whilst staking out our spot for parades/fireworks

Worked well for us.

I think most of Disney is free for 3 and under. We ate yesterday at the Crystal Palace and Jack (2) ate free. Check online but I think thats the case.
