    Golf communities

Could some one please tell me what the best golf community to stay on is.

We are going to Orlando in December, and want a villa on a golf course (to keep husband happy!!)

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks[msnsmile2]

Not stayed there but played on the golf course - Highlands Reserve.

Can't tell you much more than that I am afraid but I am sure someone will let you know.

Highlands Reserve is the nearest golf course to Disney so if you wish to visit Disney also then it will save you time in travelling there and back from the villa.

Most of the golfers I know who have been to Florida are keen to try more than one course and as there are probably 20 or so within a half hour drive from any of the villas on the 3 sites listed aren't actually too bothered about staying in a villa on a golf course.

There are new courses at Championsgate designed by Greg Norman and a David Leadbetter golfing school, just off the I4. So really any communities around that area (CR54 and 27) would be fine as well.

I am biased but have to say that Highlands Reserve is a wonderful community to stay on

Our first villa holiday in Orlando was at Highlands Reserve as my husband is a keen golfer and wanted to stay on a golf course within 15 minutes of Disney. We liked it so much we ended up buying there

Champions Gate is a very expensive course to play I think its $75 a round.
