    trip insurance

I am in the process of renting a villa for the first time. It is strongly suggested that I purchase trip insurance to at least cover the cost of the villa in case that I have to cancel and lose the whole amount of the rental. How do I get this insurance and what what company is the most reliable. Thank You, vabeachboy

    Hi vabeachboy

    Welcome to the forum!

Are you in the UK or USA or somewhere else? It makes a difference as you'll need a different type of insurance depending on where you're from.

    Blott,

We're booked for April '05 and based in the very warm (at the moment) UK.

What advice would you give us? Virgin quoted £114 - thuogh I'm not sure what the cover was in detail - Family insurance (2+2).

    Cheers

    Colin

You can find much cheaper UK comprehensive insurance than £114 for one trip!

I have the British Airways anual policy and it covers up to £10,000 if you have to cancel its £149 per year and includes all children under 18.

    Chicken or beef?
