Walmart vs publix

I will staying in Lidfields in 4 weeks

which in your opinion is the better store for variety Walmarts or Publix.Also which would be the the nearest to lindfields (taking into account I am hopeless at directions)I cant even find my way to the pool sometimes [:0]well maybe im not that bad I think im just a typical male driver keep on going untill your completely lost then ask directions 3 hrs later

Publix/WynDixie are both more of a supermarket. They carry more stock or choice in the food department but Walmart has more choice on all other goods and is probably slightly cheaper as its a nationwide chain with more buying power than Publix.
I use both, depending on needs.

I find Publix easier to food shop in then Walmart.........

I went to WalMart on our first night as it was closer than Publix and i was in a hurry.
Too big and hard to find stuff. It is cheaper though, but not by a huge margin.
Always went to Publix after that, used to Publix i suppose and like at home tend to always do food shopping in the same old reliable supermarket in our case Asda.

I would have thought Publix is much closer that Walmart from Lindfields. There is a Publix to the west of Lindfields just before the junction with 27 - I think going west you will encounter less traffic than going to east to find the big Walmart

Publix has much more variety for food shopping (although slightly more expensive) and Wal-Mart is great for everything else as it doesn't have a huge food section.
