7,700 new people a day!?
mind you, seeing how Florida is the Bournemouth/Eastbourne of America, I expect a few retired people pop their clogs each day too. [msneek]

Alot of people don't live in FL all year round......most of the people in my block have second homes down there........and 3 people on the plane back from Orlando had been down to look at buying...........one couple thought the homes cost to much now......so they were leaving it.....the other two were buying elsewhere in FL.......for the same reason......they were chatting about it while waiting for their cases....
Alot of the people who move to FL to live full time are very poor......they move there because its a cheap State to live in......and you can still get by on min wages there.......

Well that goes to prove the point about house prices rising over ten years.
At the end of 1998 Orlando Regional Realtors Association announced that the median price of homes had broken the $100,000 mark, Just 5 years later it announced that the median price of an Orlando home had nearly doubled in price and ended the year on an average of $184,349.
and with developments like Reunion where prices of 5 bed houses are changing hands off plan for 1.2 million dollars its no wonder people who need a bargain are starting to look elsewhere
In fact The sales for March by the Ginn Corporation who owns Reunion were $344 million in 30 days and that was just from their site in Orlando called Bella Colina and Reunion.
interesting point about the undertakers, ruth
whilst we were out there last week an amusing(not if it affected you though) story came on the tv.
apparently they have a lot $199/$299 almost drive in style cremation services out there and one or twenty of the dead bods have not been getting to there respective resting places. this was discovered when one poor lady received the ashes of her dear departed brother, bless. only to remember moments later that he hadnt been torched yet??
well you can imagine, the soot really hit the fan.
from this a larger enquiry showed that several of them had been setting the gas mark level too low to obliterate everything .saves on gas, but doesnt do the do. so theyd just been chucking out the left over bits and putting a bit of fred in barneys casket mixing freda with auntie gerti and generally getting in a right old pickle
on a serious note it wouldnt bear thinking about if it involved a family member. but cavaet emptor (buyer beware) and you only get what you pay for, ring true again.[8D][8D][V][V][V][msncry]

I know prices in Orlando had stayed near enough the same for the few years we were looking before buying......its started to go through the roof a month or so after we got our house.....the same thing happened to us when we first moved to the States.......we were able to buy in a low then too.....
