So to summarise, keep eating lots of garlic, smear yourself with marmite and get a bounce under your bra if you want to ward off insects....that sounds about right doesn't it?

If you are my husband drink whisky and smoke cigars. Obviously the mossies just hate all that in the blood!Unlike those of us who live a more healthier lifestyle and are eaten to death - is there a moral to all this? Well I for one will be trying the vitamin B1 tablets this time.
Does this mean I have to start wearing a bra? Is there one type of bra you have to wear or can I just wear the wife's? [)]

Smearing yourself in marmite will also give you a lovely brown fake tan. [msnsmile2]
We were also told that taking garlic tablets/capsules deters insects as they don't like the smell your skin gives off. Not sure how true it is, but we take them every day anyway and rarely get bitten on holiday.

You two should be easy to spot around the parks, covered in Marmite and smelling of Garlic. If I see you I will give you a wave......from a distance of course!1![]()
