changing Vehicle's

Hi Every1, Just wondering if this is possible;
Going to florida in Oct 04 for 3weeks, booking well in advance via uscar hire.co.uk, (Great price might I add) I think we have booked the Sebring convertible. That's the 1 I booked @ time on the car hire web picture's page. I was just wondering is it a problem for Dollar if they don't give us the Sebring convertible & give us Mustang instead;[?] as their are four of us 2x adults 2 small children so the Sebring is a must,[msncool] what with the bigger boot and all. Also can you change your vehicle for say the 3rd week to some thing like 4x4 [?][msneek] (as it's all the same price's?

Seebring is a great looking car, but I am not so sure about the luggage space. If you are light travellers, perhaps it is enough for the 4 of you.

As for a change, it may be possible under certain circumstances. We did so this time, but it was almost a like-for-like change. We were given a '12-seater' Ford E-350 van with an unwanted bench seat in the luggage space. On the day before we were due to return, I negotiated with Dollar to swap for straightforward 8-seater E-350.

think you will find the sebring is the normal car for dollar.. at least it has been every time i have used dollar..

We changed mid rental from a Dodge caravan..to a car........when some of the people went home.......

We've rented convertibles about 5 or 6 times now from Dollar - the first time we were given a choice of Sebring or Mustang, one time it was Mustang or nothing! and every other time it's been a Sebring - not much help really
