Can anybody tell me the most direct route to IOA from Lindfields
Can anybody tell me the most direct route to IOA from Lindfields

I would say take the I4 East and come off at Exit 75a (used to be 30a)- once at the top of the ramp take a left turn and follow the signs to Universal - its on the right - very easy!
Someone may have an alterate route of which I'm sure they'll advise you.

Hi Dave,
I'd take the same route that Ann-Marie has suggested as Lindfields is only down the road from I4 and Universal is 2 minutes away at the other end. It may be worth avoiding rush hour on I4 though, although I'm not sure how busy it gets.

Yes it would definitely be the I4 route.I wouldnt worry too much with exit numbers as they can vary as Universal change them according to how busy the turnstiles are and which entrance they want you to use.You wont miss it though as they illuminate the signs for the exit they want you to use.Like wise the rush hour traffic should not be a problem on the I4 as even when busy it tends to keep moving.

Or if you want the " scenic route" - go up 192, turn left into black lake road, and left at end, Sherberth rd, to the end, and turn right [ AK Car park on left] follow Road out past WWof Sports, and you are on 535. Go across the lights, and take left at next lights, International Drive. Follow along to 1] Sea World 2] Universal.
i agree with susan, we used this route to sea world yesterday(sunday) when the main roads got jammed up

The only time I am happy to use the I4 is when going to Universal(I'm on Lindfields too) as to go the scenic route can easily take best part of an hour.

looks like its the I4 for me then. Thanks for the info
Several weekends ago, I was on Sherbeth Road and came upon a nasty accident. Police and ambulance there and a white rental car turned over with a young lady, apparently British, crying by the road and someone else being loaded into the ambulance. This is a very, very dangerous road because of numerous twists and turns, poorly marked construction entrances, dangerously placed entrances, poor lighting, excessive foliage along the road and so on. This is the second accident I have personally seen on this road. The Sheriff' office has begun to post a patrol car by the road to try to slow down the lunatic speeders and two police officers I've spoken with firmly believe that visitors, certainly at night, should be discouraged, NOT encouraged to use the road.
