I have tried twice in the last week to send PM's unfortunately they don't seem to be getting through. at least there is no sign of them in my outbox, anything obvious I should be doing?

You could check your preferences settings from within your PMs (one of the choices along the top row of grey buttons). Make sure that you have checked save PMs in outbox rather than do not save PMs in outbox and it should save your sent PMs automatically.

I went to the preferences and found that PM was disabled and as you say the sent messages were not being saved, when I tried to reconfigure I got a DB error message??
