twilight baggage checkin

When we last went to Florida we flew with Virgin and did a twilight check in the night before.Which living near to Gatwick made the day of traveling a lot easier with just hand luggage.does anybody know if any other airlines do this (ie Britannia who I am flying with this time)

Ba have just introduced it but I don't think any of the Charter airlines have yet.

Hi all

I Rang B.A. today to confirm Baggauge Allowances and The Twilight Check-In.

You are allowed to take 2 x 34kg bags each, That includes Children over 2 as well who have paid for their own seats.

Twilight Check in at Gatwick is 6pm - 11pm the night before you fly.

Hope this is of any help to anyone.

Now this might seem a strange question - but I'll ask it anyway!

We will be staying in a hotel overnight and were wondering if having checked in our baggage at the Twilight check-in. What are you allowed to carry in your hand luggage. ie are electric razors permitted[?]

We have packed our electric toothbrush in our hand luggage before and had no problems

We're staying overnight at Heathrow. Does anyone know if you can do the Twilight check-in at regional airports (Edinburgh) and check all the way through, or should I collect the bags at Heathrow and recheck.

If your flying into Heathrow via Edinburgh you should be able to check your bags all
the way through.

Im not sure about Twilight at Heathrow, cant find any info on it
