We will be moving to Florida this year on an e2. Both my wife and I are in our 40ies and although we go to the dentist every 6months for check ups. We both expect to have fillings replaced in the next few years. What are the cost in the states? Would it be to our advantage to have them done before we move?

I had a crown done before moving.......but I found it cheaper in the USA..and the dentist here did a lot better job.......its root fillings you have to look out for....they cost an arm and a leg......
it will be to your advantage to have anything done like that as it is quite expensive for any tratment in the states..
you will need to be careful over health insurance aswell we found that legally you cannot get cover in florida for the first year of you moving over here... even though some companies say they will provide it...
we have had to get our emergency cover from the uk for the family and pay per visit to the doctors.. so far weve spent $1200 in 6 months and we are pretty fit... touch wood...
