My mum is 73 and travels with ourselves to Orlando on a regular basis.
Up to last year mum got her insurance through a local Travel Agent and paid about £75.
However, my mum now has a Gold Bank Account with Nat West and because she paid for our flights on her card she got free Insurance!!

my f-i Law is 86 with angina wwe are travelling tomorrow for three weeks and we insured him with age concern- the only ones who would give a reasonable quote.
I had an awful time trying to get insurance for our group particularly for my disabled father (66) and MIL (78), the problem I had with insurance for my Father was his heart conditions ie angina, bypasses etc and was actually quoted a staggering £2000 for a single journey which also include a claus where we would have to foot the first £10,000 (not a misprint actually ten thousand)It was at this point we almost gave up hope of ever getting them across there. We also tried SAGA and due to his health condition and MIL over 75 they also quoted a price so unbelievably high. We eventually found a company that would insure us called Chartwell Insurance which was a great deal better about £180 each for a 21 day deal. They also provided the rest of the group with reasonable quotes which we also excepted.

We insured MIL with Preferential as she has Angina they gave her a great price and no increased excess
I think the co-op do travel insurance for the older generation.
