they have been updated with more leg space plus 747 300's now instead of old model's 747 200's plus all leather seats:seat pitch is 34inch.

We flew back on a 'new' Travel City branded plane last week. The plane we had was a 747-200 not a 300

Unfortunately the seats in Economy are cloth not leather and the seat pitch is supposed to be 34" in sunshine upper I think but it is still 31" in Economy. I think sunshine first has a seat pitch of 50" now not 54"

I live near to Manchester Airport and it looks to me like they are using the old European Air Charter's aircraft but have just painted over the livery??

I don't think they are the same ones Julie. The one we had was little bit newer than the European ones it had a skymap system for a start.

According to the fleet listings pages the aircraft in question are Air Atlanta TF-ABA and TF-ABP.

    Hi All,
Just got back from Orlando today with Travel city
(Air Atlanta) , overall flights were on time, staff polite
    , food ok.

    But
Dont expect much from the in flight entertainment, there are
wall projector's and unless your near the bulkhead you miss
most of the picture due to peoples head's

On the flight home the touchdown resulted in a few of the
oxagen masks falling from the housings, quite funny and the
only time you ever want to see them [msnsmile2]

the seats allthough cloth not leather as sold, had a
decent pitch for economy, over all for £250 it was worth
it, flight home was only 7.30hrs.

    Regards
    Oliver

Try www.travelcitydirect.com or teletext page 222 (ITV) for Travel City prices.

We paid £179 fly drive each in late April but you can get very late deals for as little as £89 if you can take the risk of no seats being left.
